Description:
Due to new contracts we are seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Connect HR & Recruitment Ltd. The role initially will be on a short term temporary basis, but could be extended or become permanent.
At Connect HR & Recruitment we advise and support our clients through out the UK but mainly in the Yorkshire and North East with their people, risk, management which includes Health and Safety, Human Resources and Recruitment project management.
Hours of work can be negotiable and will be Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm with a half hour lunch break.
Key Tasks
- Reviewing the current Health and Safety Management System
- Advising as to the current systems sustainability
- If required writing and implementing a new Safety Management System
- Carrying out all initial risk assessments required
- Implementing and assisting with all actions to raise the standard of Health and Safety
- Promoting a safe and healthy environment
- Initial safety management training with line managers
It is essential that you have a recent recognised Health and Safety qualification such as a NEBOSH General Certificate. It would also be desirable that you have been in a previous full time Health and Safety role. Motor Industry experience would also be a distinct advantage but not essential.
