Our client is part of a large retail group in the motor industry that is renowned for delivering customer satisfaction with a wide variety of franchises. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this company as a Used Car Controller / Business Manager with a volume franchise based in Wrexham.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a sales environment within the motor trade, preferably within a volume franchise.
This is a full time, permanent role, and includes weekend working - every third weekend off plus a day off each week. A current valid driving licence is essential for this role.
Purpose of the role:
The purpose of this role is to assist the Sales Team Leader in ensuring the best possible services to customers whilst maintaining a satisfactory profit contribution to the company. This role will also be responsible for assisting the Sales Team Leader in organising, directing & controlling the activities of the Used Car Sales department ensuring optimum use of all material, financial & people resource.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- To achieve targets for used car sales within the defined operating & financial guidelines
- To control the Used Car Sales Team ensuring that each Sales Executive achieves maximum results within the resources available to them
- To guide the Sales Executive through the deals, ensuring that each customer is properly qualified & introduced to a car in a friendly & professional manner
- To ensure that a correct ratio of appointments to incoming calls is achieved by the sales team
- To accurately appraise & value part exchange vehicles
- To ensure that the forecourt display is immaculate at all times
- Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times
Base salary of £17,000 with an OTE of £35,000 per annum plus a company vehicle
