Our client is part of a large, multi franchise group within the Motor Industry, who pride themselves on customer satisfaction and high standards of excellence.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this company as a Workshop Controller with a volume franchise based in Hull, East Yorkshire.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Workshop Controller role within the motor trade, preferably within a volume franchise.

This is a full time, permanent role, and also includes Saturday mornings on a rota basis.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- To operate the workshop loading system effectively to maximise profitability of the Service Department
- Distributing the work to the Technicians who are trained and suitable to complete
- Initiate service documentation and job card production
- Record vehicle information accurately, refer to service histories
- Document all warranty work as per manufacturers' requirements and dealership policy
- Ensure the Reception area is staffed at all times
- Advise customers of estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken
- Maintain close dialog with other departmental staff
- Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times
