MOTOR TRADE JOB: Our client is a privately owned motor group, established in 1985, with dealerships in the Hull area of East Yorkshire. They are a well respected dealer with their customers, some of whom are still with them today from when the business first started.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager at one of their Hull branches.
The ideal candidate will have worked their way up from the shop floor and worked on the Service Reception desk, and either be currently working as a Senior Service Advisor OR a Service Manager.
The successful candidate will have the passionate energy to deliver a good job, build solid customer relationships, and drive a team of Technicians.
Key tasks & responsibilities include:
- Receive customer enquiries and successfully convert into firm bookings
- Maximise service profitability and sales
- Accurately record vehicle information
- Follow up & prospect customers
- Drive Technicians to achieve departmental targets
- Efficient operation of the workshop loading system
- Distribution of work between the Technicians
- Advise customers of estimated service & repair costs
- Enhance the dealership profile by exceeding customer expectations at all times

Salary and OTE are based on the level on previous experience of the successful candidate.
This is a full time, permanent role with some weekend working on a rota basis.
