It is also a fact that even if you are successful in defending such allegations, it is highly unlikely that an Employment Tribunal would award costs to you even though you win. Connect HR has partnered with Composite Legal Expenses to offer our clients the ability to purchase a Legal Expenses Insurance policy to cover our professional fees in representing your business as a result of an Employment Tribunal Application where you are the subject an allegation of unfair dismissal or discrimination.

In the highly unlikely event of us representing you and still losing the policy will also cover any Awards granted by the Tribunal to the claimant up to the policy limit of £50,000. The Legal Expenses Insurance premium is dependent on your current payroll and whether you have been involved in any Employment Tribunals during the past three years but annual premiums start from under £300 inclusive of Insurance Premium Tax.
