Risk Assessments are a comprehensive integral part of any Safe Working environment and essential as part of “The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999”. The phrase ‘suitable and sufficient’ is not defined in The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, however, the ACoP requires the risk assessment to be appropriate to the nature of the work, and to identify the period of time it is likely to remain valid.
